Description

The cubes are made from solid acrylic, beautifully finished with smooth edges and come in 10 different colours. The mirrored base of the tray reflects light back through the gems, providing a strikingly bright and colourful space for creative play. For younger children and in child-led play, the cubes can be used to build towers, or to create patterns and pictures. For older children, the set inspires independent play and could be used for maths activities such as sequencing and number bonds. The acrylic cubes are highly appealing to handle, they sound lovely when tumbled together and will catch the light to show the internal reflections in a fascinating way. They work very well for colour mixing and would make an interesting addition to small world play, which is ideal as a prompt for using descriptive language.
