A great set for teaching high frequency words in phases 2-5 of the Letters & Sounds programme. Cards are initially laid out with the background colour facing up to show the picture of the word. Children pick a card and identify the correct word to match the gap, form the word using a string and beads, then lay the word on top of the card. Only one word will fit and the answer is on the reverse of the card. All the words are taken from the high frequency words list of the Letters & Sounds programme, with beads orange, dark purple an dlight purple to macth phases 2, 3 and 5. Set includes 133 beads (inc. a white apostrophe bead), 40 double-sided cards (18x10cm, 4 for each phase), 40 strings (23cm long) and a clear storage box. Suitable for ages 4+.
